BNHS Holds SSC and SPA Screening Test

Special Science Class (SSC) and Special Program in the Arts (SPA) had screening test and auditions for the incoming batch of high school student last February 8 -18.

Three hundred twelve aspiring students from different elementary schools in Bataan took the screening test for the SSC curriculum. Furthermore, the examinations for the said curriculum will be administered on March 20. For the SPA curriculum, approximately 140 sixth grade students underwent the audition for the seven specializations namely Creative Writing, Vocal, Instruments, Visual Arts, Dance, Theatre and Media Arts.

“The auditions for SPA will still be open before May, since few elementary students knew this kind of curriculum”, said Mrs. Charo Banzon, adviser of Instruments class. Moreover, results for the SSC examinations have no exact date yet and will depend on what the Regional Office of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) announces, while the results for SPA curriculum will be released on May.
